yeah. hate the name Tonya. Its almost completely see-through, except this goldish line in the middle. makes things very complex, cuz i flip cuz i dont see the color at first... lol

i am fourteen, and i just discovered that i have synesthesia. i mean, i dont even know how to spell it yet.



We were on a religious retreat for my catholic school, and we were each making a puzzle piece for a huge freshman puzzle to represent our community. I pulled out my puzzle piece, and then I reached over and grabbed a lavender marker, and then a metallic dark purple, a red, and then a metallic green, and started coloring the puzzle piece in lavender, then adding some swirls of dark purple, and spots of red slashed with metallic green. It looked really, really good. The teacher came by and stopped while i was coloring away at my design. She frowned, and she said, "Sam, you're supposed to do something that defines and represents you in some way. Not just some random squiggles." And I frowned at my puzzle piece. What was I doing wrong? I looked up at her eyes, totally serious. "I'm drawing my color!" I said, as if it was completely obvious what I was doing. This was obviously my color! Everyone looked at me like I was crazy. Which, I'm not.



I did some research, and now I know. Nobody else sees my name like that. Most people don't see names as colors, even other synnies. And the ones that do see my name as something totally different than I do. Which, by the way, is totally cool.

I never really liked "R" "V" or "F". For numbers I didn't like 7 or 9. They have snobbish personalities, lol
